Before 31

I’ve created some links in this list keep track of my progress, like there are pages where I will keep track of the AFI list, the art exhibit list, the wine drinking, etc.

  • Wear something that I have dyed, spun, designed, and knitted – start to finish.  Completed 1/1/12. Cute hat!! :)
  • Do something that terrifies me.  This one was extremely person, and I won’t give it anymore control over me by discussing it here.  But I consider this done and done and done.  What a year. :)
  • Watch all the movies on the AFI top 100 list.  Finished on 1/22/11.  I would NEVER have made it if it weren’t for my amazing boyfriend.
  • Complete my double book collection.  Done and done – Had to ferret out my last book in a book shop in England – shipped here on 11/1/11.
  • Try 31 different types of desert wine (for my purposes – this will mean any sweet wine).  Finished up on Thanksgiving!  (I did have more than 31, but I forgot to write some of them down.)
  • Have my eyebrows threaded.  Done 1/20/12 – It was awesome! :)
  • Road trip somewhere for the sole purpose of buying Malabrigo.  Took an awesome trip to AZ in October!
  • Go to BlogHer ’11  Moving to next year.  Had to pick between this and school this year.  School wins. :)
  • Find out what I need to complete my degree and begin working on it.  Completed over several days in May.  Read about it here.
  • Take a language class.  Completed in the spring.  Not impressed.  Will try again!
  • Go see an ENT about my anosmia.  Completed 3/29/11.  Read about it here.
  • Participate in a photography group.  Complete 4/8/11.  Read about it here.
  • Learn how to roll sushi.  Completed 8/16/11 w/ Ken
  • Go to a yarn/fiber/knitting festival.  (Sock Summit maybe?)Moving to next year.  Had to pick between this and school this year.  School wins. :)
  • Find the perfect red lipstick for me, and wear it.  Honestly, I have never liked red lipstick on me.  That was the point of this, to find one that I did.  I wasn’t able to.  Just doesn’t look right on me, in my opinion.  I tried, though! :)
  • Go through my clothes and donate all of the clothes that are too big for me.   I got rid of a TON of clothes this year.  A TON.  Suddenly sharing your closet with someone will do that.  Unfortunately, I’ve decided to hold on to some of my bigger clothes.  My weight is still bouncing around because of my issues, and I’ve needed them more than I thought they would.  One day it will end, I know it! :)

Go, Kellee! What a list. I especially like the bra fitting, laser treatment, and reading all the Jane Austen books. You are worth these accomplishments. May I suggest a nice Asti Spumante for the sweet wines? And you might want to check out the mcp project 52 group (click the button on my sidebar) to stretch your photography muscles. Enjoyed your diptychs, too. thanks for stopping by. blessings on your day! k
