20 Local Art Exhibits
- 9/15/10 - Nevada Camera Club (NCC) has a photography exhibit at Enterprise library. I explored it with Wanda. There was some really impressive stuff there. I have previously been invited to join the NCC, and this certainly renewed my interest!
- 11/7/10 - There was another exhibit up at Enterprise library. A very interesting display of watercolors and pastels or various cars. I found it particularly interesting because the paintings were composed like photographs, with very interesting angles and points of focus. I liked it a lot.
- Sometime in February or March – Torn Paper art, mostly African in theme. Interesting, but ultimately not my cup of tea. There were probably 12 pieces, and I liked one or two.
- 4/8/11 – Photography Exhibit at Nevada Camera Club. The presentation itself that evening was godawful, but some of the other pieces by other artists displayed in the hallways were quite lovely.
- 5/11/11 – Chinese Leather Brush art. Not the name writing, but actual paintings. There was one in particular of a horse that was amazing.
- Can’t remember when – but it was stylized versions of hand shadow figures. Was kind of cool!
- 1/6/12 - Beautiful beautiful local photography. Totally made my day.
- 4/27/12 – Local painter – was decent. Had an interesting triptych of a flower that I liked.
